【1】Owls are nocturnal birds. Because they are active in dark places, their bodies have many special features. Owls have flat faces and large heads. Like humans, both of their eyes face forward. This gives them a wide area that they can see with both eyes.
【2】Thanks to this, they can see their prey well even in the dark. They can also move their necks very well, so they can look in all directions. They can turn their heads so far around that they can even look directly behind themselves without moving their bodies.
【3】The owl's amazing abilities are not limited to its eyes. When an owl hunts in the dark, it often finds its prey by sound rather than by sight. So, it also has an excellent sense of hearing.
