Hey guys, and welcome back. Let's go ahead and let's create a recipe for our tool, which again, for me is my most awesome sword. So to do that, let's go ahead,00:00let's come to the top left and here's going to be the green plus. Let's go ahead, click on that and come down to a new, I cannot find it.00:08There it is, recipe. Alright, guess I forgot the, uh, the alphabet for a second. Cool. So go ahead, click on recipe to create a new recipe for your tool.00:17When we do, of course, it's going to go ahead and ask us to create a name. I'm going to do little bit of a, you know, little, little bit of a, uh,00:32long name, but I'm gonna do most awesome sword crafting recipe. There we go. Once you have a good name, which should,00:40okay, go ahead and, and correlate with the, uh, the name of your tool, right? We want to go ahead and create new recipe. Go ahead and do so now.00:51So the first things we're going to notice are all the boxes to the left. We got the recipe type, registry name, and namespace. All these are good to go.01:05We're making a crafting option right here and the registry name is fine, it matches up with what we're making. And the recipe namespace is mod.01:12This is a new mod that we're creating. This is not anything in vanilla Minecraft. We're not changing anything from vanilla Minecraft.01:21So mod is the right option there. Come right down here. Xp Reward and cooking time is only applicable to cooking smelting,01:27stuff like that. So it does not mean anything at all for what we're doing right here. So all we need to do is go ahead and define our recipe.01:34We need to come over to the top right recipe parameters and we can go ahead and create that. Now I'm making a sword,01:44so it's going to be based on the sword recipe. What I'm gonna do is come right up here and I'm going to select each individual01:51block that I want inside of my crafting table and putting the object that I need inside of there. So you can pick whatever you'd like.01:58If you want to use your custom or you absolutely can, if you wanted to mix it up and put like your custom or, and then like a diamond,02:06you could do that as well. You can pick pretty much anything you want. This is your own custom recipe. You can make it however you would like.02:16So that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna go ahead and I'm going to click my two ingots and a stick. Just a classic sword recipe, right?02:23Of course you can go ahead and you can change that up however you'd like to. Uh, and you can make your own custom recipe.02:34But the important thing we need to definitely put is the result, which is selected right down here. Alright? So to do that,02:40we just need to go ahead and find our sword or whatever tool you're making and select that. Here's my most awesome sword.02:47Gonna select that and make that the result. And then right down here you can select however many you actually want to come02:55out of that. So if you wanted Two swords to come out of your recipe, you can select that by just changing03:01This right Here. Alright? I'm gonna stick with one, keep it classic and keep this classic recipe. But go ahead,03:06take a second now and update your recipe parameters for your tools Crafting recipe. Alright, so we have that recipe in there. Let's go ahead, let's save our game.03:12Save and keep open. And once you have that saved up, let's go ahead and let's test out our game.03:27Make sure our tool is popping up inside of there. I will see you in just a second when I have my Minecraft opened up. Alright,03:32inside of My game. Lemme go ahead, get rid of my sword, Right? And let's go ahead and let's find our item.03:38So I'm going to grab two Ingots is what I need. Two ingots a stick, and I need a crafting table. All right,03:45now lemme go ahead and jump over into Survival mode by typing out game mode survival. And lemme throw down my crafting table and test this out.03:56So I need two ingots and a stick, and bam, we got the sword right there. So Our Crafting recipe works.04:07Go ahead, make sure that your crafting recipe works as needed, right? Make sure it works out just like minded right there with the crafting table and04:19your recipe. So that is how we're going to make all of our tools within Creator. It's the same process for everything.04:28So if you wanted to make a shovel or pickaxe or anything like that, all you have to do is go through the same process and just change up a few of04:34the properties as you go along.
